Terms of Service

By accessing or using the El Rancho Taqueria website, requesting a catering quote, placing an order, or booking our private venue hall, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.

These terms form a binding agreement between you ("you" or "Client") and El Rancho Taqueria ("we," "us," or "our").

El Rancho Taqueria provides the following services in Bloomington, Minnesota and the greater Twin Cities area:

• Corporate office catering — including taco bars, fajita bars, burrito platters, and individual boxed lunches.
• Office lunch deliveries to businesses, conference rooms, and corporate events.
• Private venue hall rentals for company events, quinceañeras, birthdays, and holiday celebrations.
• Daily taqueria and dine-in service at our Riverview Office Tower location.
• We also offer pizza, pasta, and hamburgers as part of our extended catering and menu options.

All quotes and estimates provided through our interactive catering estimator are approximate and subject to final confirmation. Prices are based on guest count, menu selections, service style, and add-ons selected at the time of booking.

• A finalized quote is confirmed once we receive your signed order confirmation or deposit.
• Prices are subject to change based on market availability of ingredients and seasonal considerations.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order that we cannot reasonably fulfill.
• All applicable taxes and delivery fees will be itemized on your final invoice.

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our family kitchen:

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled event: full refund of any deposit paid.
• Cancellations made 48–72 hours before the event: 50% refund of deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event: deposit is non-refundable, as ingredients and staff have already been committed.
• Venue hall bookings may have separate cancellation terms outlined in your reservation agreement.
• In cases of severe weather or genuine emergencies, please contact us directly — we will work with you to reschedule.

When booking our private event hall, the following terms apply in addition to the standard catering terms:

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and time.
• The Client is responsible for any damage to the venue, equipment, or furnishings caused by guests during the event.
• Final guest count and setup requirements must be confirmed at least 5 business days before the event.
• Events must comply with all local ordinances, noise regulations, and capacity limits.
• Outside food or beverage may be permitted only with prior written approval.

Payment for catering and venue services is handled as follows:

• A deposit may be required at the time of booking to reserve your date and services.
• The remaining balance is due upon delivery or on the day of the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept payment via major credit cards and approved corporate billing arrangements.
• Orders placed through third-party platforms (such as ezCater) are subject to that platform's payment terms in addition to ours.
• Late payments may be subject to additional fees as permitted by applicable law.

To ensure a smooth catering experience, the Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate guest counts, delivery addresses, and access instructions.
• Ensure someone is available to receive and sign for deliveries at the agreed time.
• Provide adequate setup space, tables, and access to power for hot food equipment where required.
• Notify us of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or accessibility needs at the time of booking.
• Communicate any changes to the order as early as possible.

We prepare all food in a licensed, inspected kitchen following Minnesota food safety standards. However, please note:

• Our kitchen handles common allergens including dairy, gluten, nuts, soy, and shellfish. We cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.
• Cross-contamination is possible despite our best efforts and precautions.
• Guests with severe allergies or dietary restrictions should consult with us directly before ordering.
• Menu descriptions are provided in good faith but may be updated without notice.

All content on this website — including logos, images, menu descriptions, photography, and design elements — is the property of El Rancho Taqueria or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, El Rancho Taqueria's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific order or event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, profits, or goodwill.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the bottom of this page and, for significant changes, provide a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
